The Symbol of Spiritual Awakening
The Enso has always symbolized spiritual awakening, the universe, and all things void. This is considered as the deepest secrets of Zen, so only Zen Buddhists can achieve this. Kensin© chose a simple circle from the religion. This is to represent this classic Japanese design with deep meaning.
The symbol was also hand dyed using Japanese dye. For the process of creation, a classic method was used. It is a favored yet almost dying process that has been a favorite to use in the past.
This specific process was something applied in the reproduction of such items. It allows Kensin© to recreate the delicate patterns that everyone will love.
Japanese Dyeing Techniques
The Dye in Japan is of the highest quality in the world. The process of creation is famous for the delicate patterns. Though delicate, all details are intricate, bringing out the beauty of the handkerchief.
Beauty and quality is present on the Roku Mon Sen handkerchief. It’s not only excellent dyeing methods, but also detailed calligraphy that’s present. The handkerchief is of cotton satin with a beautiful silky touch to it. Though it may seem delicate, satin is tough enough against sudden tears.
Embroidered Roku Mon Sen – The Symbol of Sanada
Japanese crests are the Mon or Kamon. These are things used to represent an individual or clan. Common designs of the Mon are animals, plants, man-made objects, or natural items. These were often used for war flags and other battle equipment.
Roku Mon Sen is the Sanada’s family crest. And this was the crest of the famous Sengoku general, Sanada Yukimura. The crest signifies six coins – known to be vital for crossing the underworld’s river. This is the reason why Yukimura never feared death in wars.
The origin of the red-colored cloth comes from Sanada’s armor. With that, this product’s crafted to replicate the essence of the warrior. Plus, traditional hand print techniques add to its quality and aesthetics.

The Enso
Enso is a sacred symbol in Zen Buddhism. It is a circle referred to as the Circle of Togetherness. It is often drawn using a single brush stroke. This is a meditative practice to let go of the mind, and letting the body move accordingly.
At first glance, this will appear as a simple misshapen circle, yet it symbolizes a lot of things. One is the beauty in imperfections, letting go of expectations, and connection. Lastly, it is the circle of life.
The symbol is the manifestation of the artist during the moment of creation. It is also the time of accepting the innermost self. The Enso symbolizes elegance, strength, and one-mindedness.
