Oda Nobunaga
Oda Nobunaga is the first unifier and the most well-known general from the Sengoku Period. He ruled the whole Japanese nation with his advanced thinking and bold tactics. He was also famous for being one of the earliest people to own a lot of guns. He took advantage of the power of firearms in the battlefield.
Despite being a great ruler, he was well known for his odd behavior in his youth. A lot of people called him the big fool of the Province of Owari. At the Battle of Okehazama, he defeated Imagawa Yoshimoto.
He became known as one of the best Daimyo of Japan’s Warring States Period because of his numerous victories in battle. However, his rule ended when he was betrayed and assassinated by Akechi Mitsuhide.
