Product Measurements and Accessories
Including the base and spear, this classic figure of Yukimura measures 145 (W) x 145 (D) x 320 (H) in millimeters. Measurements of the figure without the spear is 175 millimeters high. All in all, this Yukimura historical figurine weighs about 1.3 kilograms.
Upon receiving the item, there are other accessories included in the package. These are the dedicated black storage box and the warriors spear. There is also a name plate included which depicts the battle this figure represents.
Materials Used

The Samurai Warrior
Sanada Yukimura – a Japanese warrior from the Sengoku period. He was famous for being the leading general on the defending side at the Siege of Osaka.
Sanada was said to be “a hero who may only appear in a hundred years”. He was also called “The Crimson Demon of War” and “Last Sengoku Hero”. The famous veteran of the Korean invasion, Shimazu Tadatsune, called him “Japan’s Number 1 Warrior”.
According to personal letters and historical resources, he was never called Yukimura. The name only surfaced in military novels created during the Edo period. This name has also been popularized in books, plays, novels, and different media. Historical documents refer to him as Nobushige.
The Siege of Osaka
In the Siege of Osaka, Sanada was the Osaka forces’ commander. He battled with the forces of Date Masamune but eventually retreated to Osaka castle. Sanada only had 3,000 troops under his command.
Generally, the Siege of Osaka was a collection of battles in Japan’s history. It was between the Tokugawa Shogunate against the Toyotomi family. The battle resulted in the clan’s destruction.
Categorized into two stages, the Siege of Osaka had the Summer and Winter Campaigns. The battles lasted for a year and put an end to the last armed opposition to the government.
