Samurai Animals is a series where animal characters are also Samurai warriors. It is a great concept that is very marketable due to the combination of animals and Samurai.

In this day and age, the popularity of the Samurai continues to grow. For animal characters, they have played a vital role in the hearts of all. So by combining these two popular elements, Samurai Animals was born.

The story is all about the battle between 12 Samurai animals. The characters were based off from the zodiac’s 12 animals. In the story, they are split into two warring teams.

The Goat in the Zodiac

On the 8th spot of the zodiac is the goat. It is one of the animals that appear in the Chinese zodiac linked to their calendar. This sign is often called the sheep or ram, since the term “Yang” in Chinese, is translated to Caprinae. This is a taxonomic sub group that consists of both the sheep and goat.

Sheep normally live in peaceful flocks. Because of that, they have always been considered as a happy bunch. Hence, they became a symbol of a happy family life. The sign depicts security and peace. People who were born under the year of the goat are polite, kind-hearted, filial, and tender. They have great sensitivity to beauty and art; plus, are fond of living quietly.

These people tend to be wise, compassionate, and gentle, being able to handle business with caution. They would care for others, but often avoid hesitation and pessimism.

Since goats tend to persevere through difficult times, this aspect is depicted in Lynn’s character. It is a notable trait of hers, and she also displays resilience and strength. Since they are also quiet observers, people under the sign first consider every aspect of anything before they decide on something. They are never brash in their actions, thus, are able to complete tasks.

A con about the goat is that always put the needs of others above their own. And because they are stubborn, communication, at times, becomes quite difficult.

Legend of the Goat

The goat is one of the zodiac animals. Based on myths and legends, there was a Jade Emperor who wanted to put an order of animals around. He set a party and called on animals to participate, and this specific order would be based on their arrival. The goat and deer went to the party together, yet they needed to cross the river to continue.

Since there were no boats around, they needed to swim across the river. The dear couldn’t swim further and gave up, so the goat struggled alone until he reached the other side. He was able to reach the party, and was the 8th animal to arrive.
